Before joining the course, all candidates must have: 1. At least 12 months remaining on their first aid issued by a regulated body (if not, you can book directly with us ) 2. Distance learning will need to be completed, assessed and marked before you attend the course 3. Completed both ACT Certificates Course Content The new Close Protection Top Up qualification has been Introduced by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). The course includes physical intervention skills, safety-critical content and terror threat awareness. To complete the Level 3 Certificate for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry, delegates must complete 4 modules: Module 1 – Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry Module 2 – Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry Module 3 – Application of Physical Intervention Skills for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry Module 4 – Application of physical intervention skills in the private security industry
